C. 想要和需要的区别是什么
想要”这个词侧重表达一种主观的愿望，而“需要”一词则侧重表达客观的要求。这类似于在英语里want和need的区别。
根据具体的语境，这两个词可能都适用，也可能只有其中一个适用。当主观愿望和客观要求相一致的时候，两者都是适用的。例如：“天气寒冷，我想要/需要买副手套保暖。”用“想要”侧重表达自己内心的愿望，而用“需要”则侧重表达客观因素（天冷）导致的要求。当主观愿望和客观要求并不一致的时候，用其中一个就会比另一个更恰当。
